Our Strategy
Most laboratory and clinical work is outsourced to external specialists operating under our auspices. This operational structure allows access to state-of-the-art research facilities and expert manpower while maintaining low fixed overheads and lower development costs.
Our Approach
Rather than screening tens of thousands of plant species we rely intensively on the primary fieldwork of our network of western trained veterinarians in tropical regions of Asia, Africa and South America who work closely with their indigenous colleagues and local herbalists. This combination of expertise allows for a highly focused selection of novel and traditional medicinal plants which are then subjected to further processing and testing.
